Get Pests Out: Best Way To Get Rid Of Pests In Your Home

If you have ever had pests in your home (around your family) then you might want to take a look at this. Anyone who has dealt with mice and roaches definitely knows how disgusting it feels to walk through your own home with your socks off. But if you’re really interested in finding a natural (non-toxic) solution, then give me about 10 minutes to give you some advice. In the end, what have you got to lose? So take this advice for what it is worth and hopefully it will help you a little.

The most important thing you can do in most areas is to get a bug light. These little gadgets are probably the most overlooked ways to kill off these little insect pests. Place one outside on a patio or wherever you can. You should be able to attract a majority of the flying insects that come around your home. The price for a decent bug zapper is around $50, which is often worth it if you can reduce the amount of bugs coming into the home.

What about the rest of the pests? Well, we very quickly get into the world of extermination in your home and this can be a bad subject for a lot of people. If you have a family like mine, then you are concerned about having little kids running around and picking up everything. For one, you don’t want your children to be playing around with insects that could carry disease. And you also don’t want the chemicals that were sprayed to harm your family. So what can you do? Let’s talk about your options.

Your initial line of defense against insects is a clean floor. That might sound like really obvious advice, but how clean is your floor? Roaches can survive on hardly any crumbs. Ants, being much smaller, can survive on even less. So make sure that you are cleaning out the nooks and crannies in your home. Take a vacuum hose and hit all the corners of your floor. Also, try to get behind and under your appliances: refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher.

Depending on the type of pest you have, you may want to try any of the following:

  • Mint tea bags near where the ants enter is a great way to deter them.
  • Cucumber also works really well at the point of entry.
  • Other natural deterrents are: cayenne pepper, citrus oil, lemon juice, and coffee grounds.

  • Diatomaceous earth. This is a really great staple that I cannot speak highly enough.
  • Others include: catnip, bay leaves, roach traps.

  • Again, mint is a good repellent
  • And bay leaves are good too

That about covers it for some of the pests that I’ve dealt with in my own home. I don’t buy into the commonly accepted practice of spraying poisons all over your home to get rid of a pest. That actually sounds kind of crazy when you are replacing one harmful issue with a worse one.

Riddex Plus Gets Rid Of Pests

Trouble with mice?  Rats on the brain?  Cockroaches in your bed?  Ants in your pantry?

I know you’ve thought about blasting those little fuckers with poison, but hold on for a second… Pardner…  put down the poison gun for a minute and wise up.  There’s a new critter wrangler in town.

Let’s talk…

Riddex is a plugin device that eliminates pests in your home.  It plugs into your home’s electrical outlet and uses the wiring in your home to act as an invisible force field to keep the pests out.  But does it really work like we’ve all seen on the television commercial?

This is a review that I’ve put together for anyone who might want to learn more.  I have also included some customer’s reviews for Riddex on this page to save you some time.  However, I understand that most of you want to go to the official website to read the reviews…

What Customers Are Saying:

I’ve done a fair amount of research just by using the Internet.  It still took me a few hours, but I have gathered up a good sized list of what people are saying about this pest device.  And just so you know, I did see one complaint about the device, but I think that the guy was just having trouble – user error.  Here is a recap of what I’ve seen customers saying about it:

  • A few people have flat out said that the device works really well.  They’ve put it in their houses with mice and in a couple of days the mice disappeared.  Apparently what is happening is the device is making the pests so uncomfortable that they have no choice but to leave.
  • Another person stated that it got rid of roaches in about two days.  And this is a person living in New York where these problems seem to be pretty bad – mice and roaches that is.
  • And lots of little reviews saying that they basically plugged it in and the pests were gone in a short amount of time.

When I first saw the commercial for this device, I thought it was going to have some crazy harmful effects.  I have kids and the last thing I want is side effects.  Now can you see what I’m talking about?  Well anyways, I did some research and this is what I found out…

The device uses something called a Digital Pulse technology.  All this really means is that it can send some sort of signal through your home wiring.  I also checked and it doesn’t interfere with anything at all.

Another good question because when you’re searching for a way to get rid of pests, we need to know all of our options.  For me, I was really opposed to having someone come in and spray chemicals.  For one, we don’t have a place to stay while they would be doing the heavy duty spraying,  Two, we have two little ones and I’ve heard some pretty bad horror stories about those chemicals.  And then there is the talk about cost.  The quotes I was getting from my neighbor who is an exterminator were pretty outrageous.  I can only imagine what it would cost to have someone who wasn’t cutting me deal do this.  Needless to say, I don’t think that spraying chemicals in my home is an option.

I’ve done some searching for the best deal on this product while I was doing research.  I also looked around locally and didn’t see any deals that compared with what I saw online.  The best deal that I have seen on this device would have to be on the Riddex website.

Here Are Some Additional Resources:

These are websites that might be decent places to get more information.  However, I do recommend that you go to the official website if you’re looking for any accurate information.  After all, this is the Internet and sometimes you get bad info.

Is Riddex The Best Option?

Do you have mice or roaches in your house?  It makes me sick to think about these little critters leaving feces as they crawl around where my kids play.

But even thought I hate these little pests, everyone in my neighborhood has them.  I guess you could call it a part of living here.

And I can’t say that we haven’t thought about moving because of the insects.  These things cause disease with all the bacteria they leave practically everywhere.

That is why you’re looking for a solution – right?

You might have already looked at exterminators and figured out that doing that would be worse than nothing at all.  If you hate the thought of having bugs running around, think about what it would be like if you had bugs covered in poisen.

So if you’re at the end of your rope and you want to see what else is out there, then I would recommend you take a look at Riddex.  It is probably the safest pest control device I have seen, but you’ll have to check it out for yourself to see.

Riddex – Does Riddex Plus Really Work?

Does Riddex really work to keep pests out of your home?  If you’ve seen the commercial on TV, then you probably know that the device plugs into your wall outlet and is supposed to repel just about any type of pest.  However, a commercial wasn’t enough to convince me that it works.

Here Is Exactly How Riddex Plus Works

This is actually a really neat device.  It works by using the wiring in your home.  When you plug it into your wall outlet, you immediately send out a signal that safely acts as a repellent for anything from rats, mice, roaches, and other pests.

What you do is plug the device into a central location in your home and within about 7 days you should see results.  From then on, you keep the unit plugged in and the system will continually force out pests.

The best thing about it is that it doesn’t use expensive and harmful chemicals that might hurt your family.  Traditionally, home owners call up the exterminator and aside from forking over an arm and a leg, they have their home pumped full of toxic chemicals.  The modern solution is now to use this product.  The system forces out the pests without killing them (no mess to clean up) and keeps them out.

Does It work? – Customer Testimonials

The thing I always look for when I want to know if something works are testimonials from customers.  I found these testimonials that are worth reading if you are considering this product.

“I’m a proud owner of… pest repellent plug-ins. They work great!”
Tim Smith, Sugarland, TX

“I have been using your product … for over three years now with the greatest success, especially here in Florida.”
Ms. Constance B. Moore, Wilwood, FL

“It did exactly what it said so I purchased two more for New York.”
Diane D. Tomaso, New York, NY

“I have used your … electronic pest repeller now for many years and I find it the only repellent that truly works.”
Sylvia Wheeler, Panama City, FL

Based on all the information I’ve looked at and the great customer testimonials, this product should work well if you are trying to get rid of mice, rats, roaches, and other pests.  The product has also been around for about 12 years, which builds a lot of trust with me.

Where to Buy Riddex Plus

I first looked at some local stores such as Wal-mart for it.  I was about to buy from a local store, but then I went on the Internet and found a better deal.  The official website has a buy one get one deal.

The manufacturer recommends 1 device per 2000 sq. ft.  So even if you don’t need the second device, you can always give it away to family.

Here is the deal that I’m talking about – Official Website

It Keeps Pests Out For Good

Did you know that this device is not only effective in driving pests that are already in your home, but it also keeps them?

This is a technology unlike any other. It works with the wiring in your home and creates a force field that makes it impossible for any pest to live in your walls. It sounds like something that should only exist in the future along with flying cars, but it is here now and you can easily install it yourself.

The device is so simple to install that all you have to do is plug it into your wall and you’re covered. You may need multiple devices if you have a large home, but the cost is worth it if you want to finally be free of pests.
